OFFICE WORK OUT
Have a Ball!First off, replace your desk chair with a Swiss Ball. Make sure you get the right size. They are inexpensive and, even if you did nothing more than sit on it, you would be forced to contract your core to stay balanced. This would help your posture, not to mention burn more calories then your daily norm of slumping in the desk chair. You can even perform “crunches” once every 30 to 45 minutes throughout the day
Fitness Tip #1 - Aerobics
Want to burn fat and strengthen your heart & lungs?
Aerobics a great way of producing energy with oxygen in the bloodstream.
Kick boxing is my favorite! Tread-mills and elliptical and the stationary bike are great for cardio. Often, I find myself getting bored. I offer my clients a mixture of cardio mixed in with up-beat music for aerobics and kick-boxing. Very easy moves to learn that gets your heart rate up, burns calories and a great way to work your arms, shoulders, abs, butt and strengthen your legs! Not to mention “stress reliever” You are so in tuned to the music and moves you forget the daily stress and “pow” you have completed 30 minutes of a great fun intensity fat burning work out!
Fitness Tip #2 - More Energy & Less Stress
- Boost Energy Levels
- Great Stress Reduction

Benefits: Live longer and happier!
Family relationships can benefit from exersize too!
Beautiful day! Too pretty to be in a gym!
Hit the park - take the family!
Think about it! We spend most of our time in-doors. Outdoor exercise tends to encourage more complex movements and creates better coordination and strengthening of the muscles. Whether its running, walking, playing basketball, soccer or walking the dog - the choices are endless!

My girls love the park. We load the bikes up and a blanket with a picnic basket of whole wheat turkey sandwiches and fruit! While my girls ride their bike - I am jogging along side them.
So, next time you find yourself and your family or your loved one, staring at the t.v. on a beautiful day…take advantage of bringing the relationship closer..put on your running shoes, pack a blanket, a picnic basket and go to the park!
Fitness Tip # 3
If you are new to exercising or find it hard to stick to a routine, the best place to start is walking. Give yourself time to gradually progress to fast walking to jogging. Remember: It is only effective if you do your cardio on a regular basis. The more cardio you do the more calories you burn. For Example: If you are walking 20 min. a day 3 times a week and you are ready to walk 30 min. a day. GO FOR IT! You need to reinforce your commitment to loosing weight and keep it at a challenge!
Remember: This is your “me time” take full advantange of it!
